I am pleased to share details of Nottingham City Council’s Free Swimming for Under 16s programme, which will provide children and young people with access to free swimming sessions during the summer holidays.
We would be grateful if you could help promote this opportunity by sharing the attached flyer through your parent and carer communications, newsletters, websites and social media channels where appropriate.
The scheme is designed to help more children stay active, build confidence in the water and enjoy the benefits of swimming throughout the school holidays.
Booking opens today, Monday 20 July 2026, with free sessions commencing from Monday 27 July 2026. Families will be able to book sessions:

Through the Active Nottingham app
In person at Active Nottingham leisure centres
